The sitcom, Good Luck Charlie, began in April 2010 on the Disney Channel. It target families as well as children. The sitcom is about a family living in Denver, the Duncan family, that is trying to adjust to the birth of a fourth child in the family, Charlotte "Charlie". This role is essayed by Mia Talerico. Each episode is about the older sister, Teddy, played by Bridgit Mendler, making a video diary for her infant daughter containing information and advice about the family and how to lead her life when she becomes a teenager. The diaries are for Charlie when she grows older.
As the first season of the sitcom was extremely popular, Disney Channel decided to have a second season, which began on 20 February 2011. There is even a movie being filmed based on the sitcom and it should premier some time during 2011 Christmas.
In the sitcom, Mia Talerico plays Charlie who hardly cries and is generally a happy child. However, there are occasions when she gets upset. In addition, the sitcom also shows that Charlie has the ability to get mischievous sometimes. Charlie is quite close to her older sister, Teddy. And, with three siblings to look after her, there is always something new happening in each episode. Of course, it goes without saying that Charlie, or Mia, is one of the main characters of the comedy serial.
Definitely, Mia Talerico will grow up to be a beautiful girl, if her current looks are anything to go by. We just hope that she can find her niche as she grows older and we are around to watch her essay all her future roles. Maybe as she grows older, we will see her in many other sitcoms, serials and possibly movies. For the moment, Good Luck, Charlie will help us see how this little girl is growing up and how her acting talent develops as she grows older. Definitely, it is as exciting for the viewers, as it is for the parents to see little Mia Talerico grow up.
